- I am hooked to a mac with the provided cable. Running zterm I attach and type
- at&v&v&v&v......&v&v
- then I hit return and grab the window bar to block display. After about 1
- sec of buffering (attaching at 57.6K) the DTR & RTS lights go out.
- However, the rxd light stays lit for seconds (on my old 1496 and hayes the
- rxd dropped immediately). When I release the menu bar to allow display,
- the initial characters come out and the DTR/RTS lights come back, but no
- further RXD occurs.
- The display is also corrupted (the final portion is lost).
-
- This is with the &D0 (ignore DTR) and &H3 (HW flow) set. I have also
- tried it with an alternative cable that only connects outgoing mac flow
- control to the RTS and leaves DTR unattached. The same results occur.
-
- It looks as if v1.09 does not have any HW flow control. I wonder if this
- is why I am having trouble with my 2864/1.09 (home) to 2864/1.09 (work)
- connection disconnecting randomly (several times in an hour when doing
- large xfers).
-
- Anyone else tried the flow test or had frequent disconnects?
